  1. Thanks  for the invitation to be there with you..Mike,,,,,,,,,,,,but you probably would not have as much fun with a crowd of mostly old fat farts trying to keep up with you on your trip…….best to go alone just like you are…………sometimes more is not better..

  4. I often follow your tracks on Google Earth. It affords another dimension to the topography. How do your brakes hold up on the descent?

  6. Thanks for this particular tour Mike, it was of interest to me and one of a kind touring video for those 2 islands so far. Sorry that you were mugged when you got to Cebu and lost your cp. Years ago I was talking to a pinay in Cebu near the dock when a male teenager charged her and her cousin, knocked them down stealing her cp while we were talking. The Cebu pinay are very crafty in those Net cafes, it's a business and many ladyboys. Be safe…, I have several stories of Cebu, if you can, take videos on the new SM Mall that is to open in Dec and any details.

  7. My experience in visiting the Philippines, Mike, is that random acts of kindness in the form of help and hospitality toward me, a visitor, is something I have experienced on several occasions. I try to return that kindness and in turn. If done right, the Philippines is truly the closest thing to heaven on earth with it's caring and loving people-aside from the obvious random bad people that are well in the minority. The beauty of the scenery is only exceeded by it's people. I will be retiring there soon.

  8. Mike, great video! I just wanted to say that you are doing a fantastic job with your videos. This particular one is great because I will be in Cebu January 15-20, 2016. I wish I could ship a bike over there and join  you. The lady in the yellow was a beautiful distraction. Be safe and I am wondering if there is a way to help you with your operating costs.

  17. Great video as always. Your work is always worth checking out because you are showing the many layers of the Philippines, that most people are content with showing one or two. Keep up the good work!

  18. Hi Mike! Yes, filipino children and younger folks really respect elder people so fine as they are grown up with the word MANO…which is that what you mentioned putting your hand on their forehead . Nice habit even many times no needed for us how we behave, sad to say…This video was really cool as always. Wish you all the best for coming days and months in the near future! Stay safe!

  23. The view from the observation point is always breathtaking. If I'm not mistaken, this area is known locally as Busay. Just driving around ,you notice there are lots of produce being grown in this area. Just a few kilometers down, there is a produce stand that sells hot corn on the cob. That alone is worth the drive….Thanks again Mike

  24. They have done some work to the parking lot since i was there.
This place was my first real road trip outside the city..
You can see the whole city from there and more,
In 1999 there was just a small sign with a arrow that said to the top, on my second trip went over the mountain to Toledo where i could see Negros.for the first time.
Back then once you past the top there where large flower growing fields not wild flowers but the ones you see in a florist
