Exploring the Queen of the South: Part 1 - Philippine Taoist Temple

My mother–a native of Bohol, Philippines–tour Cebu City July 29, 2018. Our first top on this guided, half-day excursion was the Philippine Taoist Temple.

The Temple stands as a physical and spiritual symbol of the multitude of cultures and religions that have settled in and Cebu. Millions of Chinese have called Cebu home centuries before Spain laid claim to the land. Today, the Filipino-Chinese community owns approximately 80 percent of all businesses in the Philippines.
