  1. About the driver's license thing, it actually depends ob where you are in the country. I am pinoy, and I took the test and passed. There are places though that officials can be bribed. By the way, if you go to Davao, speed limits are strictly followed.

  2. However I would rank Thailand and Malaysia shopping malls are a tact above Philipines. Especially Bangkok and if would just take a stroll on their newly opened Siam Icon it's truly phenomenal. It has one of the world's biggest Apple, Adidas and Samsung stores. Regionally it's the only Vera Wang and Alexander Mcqueen available!

  3. SM is a mall for everyone, for the masses. Ayala mall is more like for the Elite, stores there are expensive, but more quite compared to SM.

  12. SM city is the busiest since its near the middle of Cebu city and more accessible for most of the people who lives in the 3 main cities of the province (Cebu, Mandaue, and Lapu Lapu)
SM seaside is pretty far but felt more exclusive.. I love seaside.. 😁

  15. Correction though. Before you can get a driver's license, you have to take an exam. Many actually failed and it's nerve racking. Failing any of those (the written exam, and the driving test) you will be asked to return a month later until you finally passed all those 2.
We also have speed limits, most esp.here in Manila, and you can be caught by overspeeding, and your license will be confiscated and redeem that in the Land Transportation Office.

  16. I have to comment on the driver's license thing: either, 1) the cabbie was taking you guys for a ride in more ways than one; or 2) he really did get his license that way and that is illegal. One tip: if its too ridiculous to be true, then it probably isn't true.

  24. Lovely couple . . in case you're both in Manila, I have an Airbnb (Ems Place Paranaque) which is about 15 mins quick drive to the airport. Would love to host you and probably go around Manila, visit old Intramuros, see the museums, pass by Chinatown and end up in 3rd largest mall in Asia – the Mall of Asia

  26. But we do have to take a written test and practical test(but just basic) to get a pro license you avoid getting more than 5 mistakes on the test. The cab driver probably bribed the corrupt official when he was younger. Also, there are speed limits, 20kph on residential areas, 80-100kph on the freeway, and 60kph on service roads. Ignorant cab driver. Sorry.

  32. Not surprising that a public transport driver said that. They're notorious for being ignorant about road discipline and rules in this country. They're the type of drivers that block pedestrian lanes because they can.

  33. the reason the seaside is a bit quiet is because the place is not very accessible specially for those who don't own a car. I've been there with my friend who lived there and he said that it's more convenient to go there by car or taxi, then i was like, maybe that's the reason why SM seaside is not packed.

  34. There is a speed limit but people don’t follow it. Also yeah people teach themselves but they don’t follow the rules and its mad 🤪🤪🤪

  35. Maybe the grab driver is just kidding when he told you that we just buy our driver's license here in Phil. Drivers take drive test and traffic rules exam before they pass and have their licenses. The exam comes with different difficulty level and depends on what type of car you have and applying for. Just for everyone's info. Great vlog, hope to see more of your vlogs regarding Phil. 😊👏👍
